Founded in 2021, Snaggins was established with one principle in mind: that you only pay one price for a complete service. No add-ons, no extras; just a single package with everything included. With over 16 years’ experience in new homes sales, handovers and completions, we bring unmatched insight to the snagging process.
Background
Snaggins is based in Alconbury Weald, a new build development that’s been ongoing for over 10 years, so we live and breathe new homes. Having gone through the new home buying and snagging process ourselves, we are all too familiar with what finishes and elements to look out for.
Our Director, Martin Junghans, has worked in new home sales since he was 18, and in the years that have passed since then has picked up a wealth of knowledge in how new homes are built, common, recurring problems, and a continued grasp of ever changing building regulations, tolerances and standards.
All developers are required to build homes that comply with NHBC guidelines and the mandatory NHQB Code of Practice. Having worked for housing developers including Hill, Redrow, Cala, David Wilson, Linden and Bloor, we like to think we’ve seen it all.

Martin Junghans
I’ve been involved with new homes for almost as long as I’ve been working, and it’s been my life and passion for almost 20 years now. In fact, I was selling new homes on Alconbury Weald before I moved in myself.
Having worked for high-end developers like Hill and Cala, I’ve come to expect a certain quality with new builds. Unfortunately, even with the introduction of the mandatory NHQB Code of Practice in early 2022, some developers still aren’t pulling their weight.
So instead of complaining about it, Snaggins was established. I snag your new build home with my critical eye for finishes and tolerances to ensure that when you hand that report over to your site manager, they understand where they’re falling short.
After all, you buy a new build because you expect it to be pristine and finished with the quality your developer prides itself on. Don’t let a sub-par experience put you off your new build; make sure you get a snag that puts your mind at ease instead.
