Our snagging service provides new home buyers with peace of mind that their purchase is free from defects. Snaggins has over 15 years of direct experience in new homes sales and conducts snags in accordance with guidelines from the National House Building Council (NHBC) and New Homes Quality Board (NHQB).

When you move in to a new build home, you’re covered by the developer’s two year warranty. In this time frame, you can (and should) compile a list of ‘snags’ for your developer to make right.
Snags are simply defined as defects or issues that aren’t up to the standard you’d expect from a new build home. Your developer will ask you to come up with a snagging list for them to rectify.
This snag list can include items such as:

Scratches and scuffs

Unfinished paintwork

Plumbing leaks

Structural issues
By compiling this snag list and sending it to your developer, they have an obligation to make it right, however long it takes. As long as the snags were reported before your two year warranty with them ends, they must make good on this list.

I started Snaggins because I believed I could make a difference to the industry. What really matters to me is the people behind the homes - the new home buyers who want to receive something of quality that stands the test of time.
Through Snaggins, I help those out who don’t know about industry standards or building regulations, all for one price per package. No add-ons. No extras. Everything you need is included.
